Palawan Beach

There are many great island destinations in the world, from Cuba and the Caribbean to Sentosa in Singapore and of course Boracay in the Philippines itself. Islands have a certain something special that everybody can relate to, even if they grew up in the middle of a large continent like North America, Europe or Asia.
Some islands have hotels, resorts and offer the vacation of a lifetime because of the five star service and comforts they offer. Other islands are remote and isolated allowing their natural charms to continue without threat from unimpeded development. Few manage to balance ecologically sound development with world class standards of accommodation and still offer pristine beaches and teeming rainforests.
Palawan does. Palawan has a modern, vibrant provincial capital, Puerto Princesa that is surrounded by bays and mountains still as found by the first men to set foot there. To the north the island resort has become something of an art form with a range to choose from that is unequalled in the region and rarely matched anywhere in the world.
It is, of course, the beaches that draw the most attention. White, pristine and stretching for miles, framed by emerald green coconut palm fringed forests and bordered by azure blue seas reflecting skies of the lightest blue. Siloso beach, Tanjong beach and one of the finest of them all, Sabang Beach. Sabang is adjacent to the World Heritage listed underground river. Those who wish to explore this contender for the new 7 Wonders Of The World stay at the nearby luxury Sheriden Resort.
Travel packages are available that combine air and land content, accommodation and even dive trips and eco-tourism.

Boracay Real Estate

Boracay real estate is expensive and buying land is usually a tricky business. If you are planning to purchase land or even lease property on the island, remember to proceed carefully and don’t hurry. It is definitely a good idea to ask specialists for help.
With the prices in the market for Boracay properties today, it is worthwhile to be careful. Also there are many things to learn about purchasing land on the island, even if you only plan to lease the land or property.
It is absolutely essential that you research the records of property ownership in detail before purchasing any property. Before buying, it is necessary you consult the provincial assessor and surveyor. In fact it is important you check all available data about the property you wish to buy. It is not uncommon to have simultaneous sales of more than one buyer. You must also investigate the background of the family that wants to sell the property. After all, there may be more family members also entitled to the property ownership. You should also check the property right-of-way and be aware of the consequences in case of death. Lastly check availability of water and electricity to be certain of what comes with the property you are purchasing.
Another organization you need to know if you are interested in purchasing land or leasing on Boracay is the Boracay Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI). The BCCI is affiliated with the Philippines Chamber of Commerce and Industry and is the recognized voice of local businesses. BCCI is also instrumental in effecting positive change in Boracay. The goals of the BCCI are to advocate sustainable development with social responsibility. Hence formulation and implementation of policies affecting the island are largely tied to the BCCI. When dealing with big trades such as the purchase of Boracay real estate, it is important therefore to consult with the BCCI about your business.

Boracay Tours

Boracay tours can be arranged once you get to the island or even before you arrive. If you're wondering what happens when you do get to this beautiful island, tours are a sure way to maximize your time while on vacation. It may sound boring but it's not. This way you'll get to see everything and make sure you don't miss a thing. There is so much to see of this island after all, but you may be pressed for time and torn between outing after outing. Besides, even if you do get to see the sights and places in Boracay, you’re trip won’t be complete unless you also take in its natural wonders, near and far. The problem is easily solved by arranging a simple boat trip that can take you around the island just for a genuine Boracay expedition only for the price of P1500. It's more fun of course with stopovers at different beaches for drinks, lunch, swimming and snorkeling. Though wind conditions may sometimes make boating on either side of the island risky, both sides of the island has enough beaches, snorkeling areas and scenic views to stop by and have an exciting trip. From White Beach, for example, a short 15-minute ride will take you to Crystal Cove on Laurel Island, which is found in the channel between Boracay and Caticlan. The water of the small beach where your boat will most likely dock is clear and perfect for taking a relaxing swim in. Be careful though, because the current can also be strong at times. Concrete paths allow you to explore most of the park-like island and enter two small caves where you can view many large concrete sculptures of animals and strange, mythological figures. There are also some rare birds which may also be seen in cages. Boracay boat tours can be arranged at the front desk of resorts or at the Boracay Tourist Center, Filipino Travel Center desk.
